Bilateral ties, Singapore and Malaysia

May 26, 2009 by teatarik

On pretext of improving bilateral ties with Singapore,Malaysia PM , MrNajib, is desperately trying to co-operate with Singapore on several issues. Most of which has been `set-up’ by former PM Dr.Mahathir but did not have a final agreement, earlier due to tough stances by representatives of both Singapore and Malaysia. Ex-PM, Mr Badawi tried but failed and so hand over to new PM, Mr Najib. Mr Najib has handfuls of tricks. Surely, he must be confident of it…….

When US got diarrhea and Asia got it too

January 11, 2009 by teatarik

Earlier, in 1997, when Indonesia sneeze, Singapore will catch pneumonia. In March,2008, the boastful leader from Singapore said that

when US sneeze, Asia wont catch cold. Well, he was right

because America did not sneeze and Asia didnt catch cold.

Ironically, in September,2008, when US got diarrhea and Asia

got it too. And Singapore went into recession. Some old

folks got cheated of their retirement funds. Some public

funds were lost by the ministers. They trusted the Layman

brothers.

And one minister explained that he lost $8 million in 2008,

but make some money in earlier years with the estate funds.

What a lame excuse. The people of this constituency did not

get their public swimming pool. The plan for building the

public swimming pool was laid out way back in 1990. The

children in Singapore grew up with cartoons, sesame st. and

swimming pools. In this estate, they were deprived of it

because the minister is not competent. Where did all the

fund went all those years? This estate did not have bicycle

parking lots at the LRT stations and under their blocks

because this will make LTA lost earnings when the people

ride bicycles instead of taking LRT. Its a small loop, this

entire estate. And the MRT station supposed to be completed

by 2013 may be vapourised. i noticed one thing. The LRT and

the MRT stations were moved towards a particular

Condominium. Dont know why. Theres a lot of space further up

for this MRT and future shopping centre. The minister did

nothing to enhance the value of the estate. This estate is

minutes away from Orchard Rd (Most Famous Shopping Area in

Singapore). In other estates, one need to spend minutes

waiting to take a shuttle just get to MRT station, before

they can even think of hitting Orchard road. This estate is

also minutes away from Johore Bahru. And all of Malaysia, if

one gets adventurous.

This Chinese minister was seen partying in yellow baju in a

Malay gathering to show off he was part of the Malay

community. What has he done for the Malay? One thing for

sure, he allowed Chinese celebrations and other dumb

occasions to be held next to the Mosque. They blasted their

pop musics and cracked dirty and vulgar jokes. Probably the

Malays dont understand. But the sound is above 80db well

above the industrial safety level. The Mosque members were

furious but did nothing to fight back. Pretending to connect

with the Malays but indirectly fueling the Chinese to attack

the Malays. Does that mean he is a hypocrite.

Serving the people here tea tarik? i hope this minister buck

up or ship out.

Get inspired

September 21, 2008 by teatarik

A brilliant scientist, nobel prize winner might have visited Singapore.

E=mc2. Its is a signature of Singapore (which i labelled). E is for economy, m

is for money, c is for cash, and 2 or squared is for multiple of multiples.

A group of Musicians came to Singapore and saw the green parks and

running tracks. The running tracks linked the parks to each other. The

musicians went back and formed The LINKIN PARK.

The neighbourhood kids dont belive me when i told them the stories.

The food in Singapore consisted of varieties. One of them is tou: tofu, hot

plate beabcurd, claypot beancurd, tau huay chui, beancurd water, black

beans pow or tau sa pow, red beans soup or ang tow tng, and

kachang puteh. One Europeans guy came and got inspired. He went back

started Mr. Bean, the comedy series and the Movies.

The neighbourhood kids dont believe this story either. This makes me

similar to the 9th immortal: Tua Pow Sien. This guy served his NS in the

Army.He used to carry a bazooka everywhere he went. And fires away

whenever there are good listeners. The 9th immortal is the missing one from

the famous Chinese fables the 8 immortals. “pa Sien kuo he” the story.

O, Come to Singapore and get INSPIRED.

And have a TEA or TEH TARIK while you are at it.

Oh, do you know that Thomson Road Grand Prix, started the F1 race in

Singapore? Ther was a killer trap called ‘the Devils Bend’. That’s where many

cars and bikes crashed. And some old man fell when walking there.

Watch out for ‘The Devil’s Bend’.

The screwup government

July 17, 2008 by teatarik

In Singapore, the famous charity organistions cheat the donors in the name charities. National Kidney Foundation then and Ren Chi’s (Buddhist) hero misappropriated funds and did forgery to steal charity money.  It sadden me to know in a tiny island of Singapore, there are still many poor and sick people around and all depend on charity to survive. What  screw-up government we have. Looking for future (for forieigners to come here) but dumping the old and sick people who build once Singapore and make it what it is today. They might have been squeezed of their very last drop of oil from their bodies, because the leaders whine about Singapore not having Oil(petroleum). They devised all kinds of money making methods. From CPF to ERP. When oil price rise (hit US $145), Singpore increased ERP gantries to collect more monies. An individual going to work past ERP gantries and was rob of $7.00 by these electronic road pricing pirates own by gov. before reaching his office. Isn’t this better than having Oil ? because it cost only S$3.50 per litre. And the ERP cost the individual S$7.00 on top of the petrol. The houses in town are over 40 storeys($2000 per sq foot) while those further away from city are are build lower because they are cheaper, (S$50 per sqaure metre).

If the gov cannot manage traffic, really, they should hire the oppositions to do it. The oppositions got excellent thinkers.

Gov. poring Tea Tarik(ERP) to tea cups(Singapore people).

Eastern Democracy?

July 1, 2008 by teatarik

The very old man whine about western style democracy is not for Singapore. Does he know the definaton of democracy? Does it means there is a eastern style democracy.

Students with long hairs from polytechic was rounded up at nite. They were locked up for the nite in prison. They did nothig wrong but just having kopi(coffee) and teh tarik(tea with milk) in sarabalk stalls (wooden stalls selling drinks). One student was beaten up by the police. Many parents turned up to take their Children home. They were worried and not informed until they found out from the police that their children were locked up, when they lodge police report. Wht kind of gov is this ?

Remember the poster of a guy with long hair and with slogan that says “Long hairs will be served last” ? What kind of gov is this ?

Other people sitting near the sarabalk stall were arrested and put in prison. No criminal activity but just having coffee can land yourself in jail. That was Singapore in the 70s. under the same darn gov. now.

He also whine about Singapore not having natural resources. What took him so long to understand? He plunged Singapore people into hardships and miseries more than 40 years ago. If he cared to admit. Till now, the gov is still sueezing the Singapore people for their very last drop of oil from their human bodies.

The old people were not spared. “Turn silver into gold” the gov. say. Their CPF and retirement funds were taken away for simple luxuries provided y the same people who run the country.

There are more terrible things , the world doesn’t know about Singapore. keep

Father, son, and …..holy chee

May 29, 2008 by teatarik

Father and son took turns to engage chee soon juan and his sister to a teh tarik match, and of course serve them to the people of Singapore. As the public can see  father and son trying to tackle an opposition into submission. Funny, in this region, everyone knows but they dont know. Businessmen, taxi drivers, office worker, etc. talked about it. Why fight with a nobody who prints crap?  and drag his sister along? That is if the father and son considered it. Can craps damage their reputations? Why fighting over craps and watse the courts time?  Trying to prove to the court that their reputations are better than craps, is that it?How about hosting a best crap fighters contest instead of muithai fighters, which is running on tv tonite, next time?.

News today, if you consider, why are so many ministers visiting foreign countries on public monies on pretext of doing business. Who are the businessmen? we have no idea. Could it be related people, supporters of their party? Singaporeans end up with no job or low jobs but all big jobs went to foreigners. Because Singaporeans are not brought up to do corrupt works while the foreigners here can easily  do it. Foreigners coming from most corrupt countries in the world are working here. Older workers here are destined to be toilet cleaners, coffeeshop helpers, taxi drivers and general workers.

Young sex workers disgusied as students are living in Singapore. Their mothers were involved in looking after them were also doing the same sex jobs part-time. Where else can Singapore filled up their empty flats and condos if not hire to these people. And they are building more houses, schools and universities cater to the needs of these foreigner sudents. Some foreign students took advantage of the sex work pay school fees and house rentals? “i can certainly use that extra $200, why not it is easy job….” said one teenage to another in their school uniforms. Some private agencies claimed to have governmet approval for foreign tudents to studies and work here. If they work here, where do you think the Singaporean work?

Still fighting over craps. Surely, Singaporeans must be tired of these craps. But when parliament sittings were televised over the tv some years ago, the whole nation watched and recorded them. All because of one big superhero named James Bond Jeya, as the public known him as. He swung his hammer around and all parliament members have to dodge. The father was seen standing up several times to defend the son, who was whacked by the hammer. Where else can you see such exciting shows. This is the best rated show in Singapore but it had been taken out to save faces. If he is that good, put the show back on again. Politically, they have won but in the hearts of Singaporeans, they have lost long, long time ago. Now they are misusing their authorities. Dr chee soon juan is right about youngsters leaving the Singapore, that’s truth. They are waiting for change in govt. in a cowardly manner, puched in cosy corners, like owls, overseas. Perhaps with a up of teh tarik to remind themsleves that they are still Singaporeans.

Justice and Equality

April 29, 2008 by teatarik

Justice and equality, 2 of the 5 stars in Singapore flag.

Justice and Equality ?

In Singapore, employers were taken to tasks when they hired illegal foreign workers. Some of them paid fines, got jailed and caned when caught for hiring illegals, whether it was their fault or not. An old lady, over 70 years of age was jailed for hiring out room to illegal workers. She escaped caning due to her age. She is illiterate, probably dont know if the workers are illegal overstayers. Under the law her house will be confisticated by the Housing Board.

Mr Wong Kan Seng, knowingly or not, committed a more greivious unprecedented offence, by letting an illegal terrorist bomber Mas Selamat escaped, did not get the similar punishment. Is he above the law ? Where is justice and equality ?

Monkey leads, monkeys do

April 24, 2008 by teatarik

Confusius say: twisted leader leads twisted followers.

Mas Selamat Kastari xcape – a case of “the butler (guards) did it again”.

Terrorism is a serious matter and everyone knows it.

Here, i will emphasise that the buck did not stop at the leader. The buck is passed down to the guards who escorted Mas.

Does the guards have the power to design the toilets, the fences or the locations of the CCTVs?. The leaders already make fools of themselves.

The guards are humans with compassions allowing Mas to ease himself(his human right) and not complacent as the DPM put it. The persons in charge, like Mr Wong, are complacent.

On one hand, the leaders tell the world that terrorism is viewed seriously, in Singapore, on the other hand, the PM is like saying “buay heow kin lah” or nevermind, in Hokkien, as we, the ‘laymans’ or persons in the street interpret his attitude. i am confused.

Did he accounted for or solved the problem? As Mr Inderjit Singh put it, send the correct signals to everyone. i can see why he,I.S., had produced a good book for business persons.

‘Nevermind’ attitute is not proper by any standard. Why serve all of us tea tarik?

i admire Dr Au Kah Kay’s and Catherine Lim’s comments in The Strait Times,Home-H6,April24,2008. It clearly showed intelligence, experience and clearly grasped and decisive on the Mas Selamat xcape matter. Maybe we should invite them to talk cocks.

Quote>>
Dr Au:Mr Wong would have visited the Whitley Road Detention Centre and noticed potential security lapses. Thus, he should resign as he bore responsibility, “not by commission, but by omission”.
Writer Catherine Lim: given the “huge magnitute”of the lapses that enabled Mas Selamat’s escape, Mr Wong’s resignation would be “the honourable thing” to do.

If Mr Wong don’t care about making the PM “pai cho” or difficult, at least do it to save our Nation’s face.

If he stayed on, imagine in near future, (maybe all the ‘lao chiaws’ or old cocks already RIP), a fire broke out in a bus. They say: “The bus Captain was negligence”. The existing or next PM will say: “Ah, nevermind lah!” and We will say: ” Oh,oh, the butler did it again…”.

Does this sound familiar to all?

Are you being served? Teh Tarik, anyone?

Tea Tarik, Teh Tarik

April 22, 2008 by teatarik

Tea Tarik and Teh Tarik is the same thing. Boiled hot water is poured onto dried tea leafs and filtered or just tea powder, in a aluminium container about 6 inches in diameter and 8 inches in height. Next, milk and sgar or just milk is added to the tea. The tea is then poured or tarik(pull) into another similar container. The further the distant between the two containers the better, as it creates  more bubbles. Then, the tea, with lots of bubbles,is poured into cups and served. Teh tarik has a special orange color. Ginger can be added. It’s called Teh Halia.

Teh Tarik has similarity as the leaders in Singapore. They talk-cocks and tarik..long…long…and created (bubbles)policies and then served them to the Singaporeans. That would make Singaporeans Tea cups, wouldn’t it?. Ha..Ha..Ha..
Next time you drink your teh-tarik, remember…you are just tea cups to hold teh tarik for the leaders. You cannot have kopi-cino. i think JBJ may be opening his kopi-cino shop soon.

Anyhow, we talked our cocks, long… long… time ago, when internet was not available and most of you were not even born yet. Some of the old cocks died already.
